What will the right person find attractive about the role?
The right person will appreciate taking the lead Accounting role for one of Dart’s largest and most important plant locations. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this person will have a seat at the table for key business decisions at the company’s Horse Cave, KY location. Dart has a tremendous Accounting system through SAP, allowing their Accounting leaders to spend more time as financial advisors rather than general ledger reviewers. This person will do a significant amount of work in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning.
What is the company looking for?
The company is looking for someone with plant accounting experience. Previous experience as a plant controller is preferred, but not necessary. We assume someone with plant accounting has the depth of cost accounting experience they’re looking for. SAP is strongly preferred. The Horse Cave, KY location is the most challenging aspect of this search. Dart needs someone who can work at the plant consistently.
